McCain and Obama on Economy

McCain plans to cut corporate taxes. He also would make a permanent research-and-development tax credit and wants to set up a “Lexington Project” with the goal of building 45 new nuclear power plants, an endeavor that would create jobs. And Obama wants to provide $50 billion to “jump-start” the economy, which would provide aid to state and local governments, as well as fund jobs in road and bridge maintenance. He also wants to invest millions in green jobs, make a tax credit permanent for research and development, and invest in infrastructure – all of which would create jobs.

I believe that both of these candidates have great ideas. Although i am partial to McCain. But What Obama is saying is very clever as well. We do need more jobs and this would help a lot in that area. McCain is also working on the need for more jobs. Obama is wanting more green jobs and this would help our environment as well. Both of these candidates make great points and both would do good in the economy situation.

VERY interesting post. I think ist is a great point that we proably shouldn’t elect Obama if even his Vice Presidential nominee dosn’t think he is ready.

One question though: how does your title relate to the rest of the post? just asking
